Delete Your Account
Effective date: May 16, 2026
You can request deletion of your BurnBite account and associated app data at any time. Account deletion is permanent after processing.
How to Request Deletion
- Open BurnBite and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile or Account settings.
- Choose Delete account if the option is available in your app version.
- If you do not see the option, email us from the email address connected to your BurnBite account.
Email deletion requests to privacy@burnbite.app with the subject line "Delete my BurnBite account".
Data Deleted
- Profile and account details
- Saved meals, food scans, calorie and macro logs
- Activities, workout entries, and daily progress data
- Refresh tokens and active app sessions
Data We May Retain
- Payment, tax, fraud prevention, or legal records that we are required to keep
- Security logs kept for a limited period to protect the service
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably identify you
Processing Time
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days after verifying account ownership. If we need more information to verify your request, we will contact you by email.
Subscriptions
Deleting your BurnBite account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by an app store or payment provider. Please cancel active subscriptions through the platform where you purchased them.
